2Nov 2007Todd finally got a chance to go up in a helicopter and try out a little flying; it was his "Nickel ride" - ie first time up. It is a military tradition for a new pilot to give their instructor a nickel that is from their birth year to mark this milestone; hence the name.
We took a little video to document the experience.
