Let the games begin--and let the word "no-no" begin too! You'll be surprised at how smart she is and how fast she'll learn that one. This is about the age we started with no-no. They are so smart.
A tip on baby proofing my friend told me: if you leave things out and just re-direct her attention (and teach no-no) then she will get used to things. We didn't have to do much baby-proof. No baby gates or anything. I have a glass vase on my fireplace she doesn't even look at! Hazel will get past the curious stage and then everything around her will be boring. (But I'm definitely not saying leave small scrabble pieces out!) Have fun!
