Child-Sized Chair... Groan

A neighbor lent Hazel a child-size lawn chair about a week ago and it has turned into Hazel's absolute favorite plaything. She carts it around E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E and has been getting into all the things that used to be securely out of her reach.

It has been the bane of my existence and the love of her life.

We will be returning it tonight. (Yay!) But Todd thinks we should buy Hazel one of her own. What do you think?

I totally feel your pain! Jack's mother did that for Ruby over Christmas break when we spent a week there. Their house is already NOT child proof and adding the chair meant that I did nothing but tell her to get out of stuff and follow behind her to ensure she didn't off herself. Good luck. I recommend making it "disappear" after bedtime and then deny all knowledge of its existence! COngrats on the boy, BTW. Jack is stoked!

ok, that is hilarious. I love that you have documented it with all these pictures.

Macey has a chair, but it's home is outside. She does have a stool though which travels all over the house and she has recently discovered that she can move the dinning room chairs around to get things that are higher. They just want a little independence I suppose.

I'm thinking Hazel looks more and more like her momma. Dang, we haven't had any chair experiences here...I'm pretty sure we still leave knives/scissors/sharp harmful objects on all high surfaces because Amaryllis still doesn't know she can climb. Does she have a little table with chairs? If not, I'm betting she would love it.

Hazel needs her own chair! For sure!
