Well, the time has come for Todd and I to make a very exciting announcement. I am pregnant! The baby is due December 1st.
I am just coming out of the first trimester now, and am amazed that it went so smoothly. It took us so long to get pregnant that when it happened, it didn't seem real, and we were so afraid I would miscarry. It was too good to be true. But Heavenly Father has blessed us with this incredible miracle, and now that I'm 13 1/2 weeks along, we're finally feeling at peace that "The Bean" is going to make it after all.My belly is just starting to poke out a little bit, and I've been using a rubber band to hold my pants together because the button is a little tight. We had an ultrasound at 9 weeks (a month ago) and heard the heartbeat again yesterday. The little tike's heart is just pumping away. All sources say "The Bean" is doing great.
I feel really fortunate that my doctor's office puts the ultrasounds on a DVD for us to keep. Is that common, or am I super lucky? Anyway, we added commentary to the video and sent it to our moms for Mother's Day, but there are some out-of-town family members who have been wishing they could see it. So for any who are interested, check out the ultrasound below.

Yeah!!!! I'm so excited for you guys I can hardly contain myself. You both are going to be such great parents, I'm so excited for you and the new adventures your going to be having. Congrats!! I had no idea, you can keep a secret really well.

How Amazing!!! I am always a little scared to tell people about being pregnant when I know they have been trying as hard as we have. This makes everything perfect!!! The ultrasound picture is SO cute! How have you been feeling? We are so happy for you!

I never heard of ultrasounds on a DVD before...I hope they start doing that at my Doctor's office!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell that was a big fat scream!!!! I am soooo happy for you! I can't wait to hear more. I have to laugh about the rubberband around the pants. I soooo did that. I think it might be a passed down pregnant lady tradition.

I CAN'T WAIT! You have no idea how excited I am! I'm going to be "Bean's" favorite aunt, and no one's going to stop that from happening. I'm already the favorite aunt of Aleah, Kayla, Stockton, Easton, Shaylee, and Riley, though Shaylee and Riley don't know it yet! :D I am so excited for you guys. Todd's gonna be an AWESOME dad and you're going to be THE BEST mom in the WHOLE WORLD! LOVE YOU!
Thank you for putting this up! I'm so excited! It's incredible to see your pictures - let alone a DVD of your sweet baby moving and the heart beating. What a treasure! We are so excited for you and Todd and are praying for you and the baby. We're going to watch this over and over. We love you!!!
