fruit (no apples)
lettuce
green pepper

Grabbed some nectarines, pears, bananas, a green pepper, a head of romaine. Looked at the list to see what I needed next. But wait! My list was NOT in my hand! I didn't remember setting it down. I looked in my cart. Nope. Checked my purse. Uh-uh. Went back to each section where I had picked up produce, to see if I had set it down while filling my bags. Nada. I looked on the floor. Nothing. No list. And I couldn't remember much of what was on it.
I then had to push my cart up and down every single isle, so I could see if my memory would be jogged by certain items. Oh, yeah! We need jam. Got it. I still have no idea if I got everything that was on my list.
When I got home, I noticed I'm almost out of vanilla. Should have bought some. But I don't remember putting it on the list before. (Smile.)

True pregnant brain would be discovering the list in your back pocket after you get home....did that happen?? :P
Don't worry, your brain will return in full force....in about 15 months!! (after breast-feeding is over)
haha
i love that. i love to see what crazy things i forget when i'm pregnant. for example, when i was pregnant with tatum, i locked lexi and i out of the apartment 3 times in the same week...and each time i had to waltz over to the dabo's and pathetically explain my situation. it's especially funny because we weren't telling people yet. the fun never ends....
The hardest part of pregnancy brain is convincing Todd that it REALLY DOES EXIST! Even when other girls vouched for me, Brian never believed that it was real. They just don't get it :-)
Oh Man is it real!!!! I don't think I ever fully recovered although my brain works way better than when I was prego.
Good luck with that. Just keep us posted on the funny stuff you do.
Too bad I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't need to be pregnant to forget things. That kinda scares me....if I forget things now, how bad will it get? OH NO!!!
Love it! Pregnancy brain is truly a marvel. While pregnant with Grayden I actually put my keys in my purse so I wouldn't misplace them, then decided that I didn't need to lug my purse around, got out of the car and distinctly remembered to lock the doors and shut them. THen we I needed to get back in the car, I couldn't understand what I had done with my keys. It took me almost 15 minutes to remember that I had locked them in the car with my purse so that I wouldn't forget where they were! AHHHHHRG!
According to my educated friends from Logan if you eat fish regularly during pregnancy you shouldn't have any problems because it replaces the conectors in your brain that the baby is mooching from you. I don't remember if you like fish or not but now might be a good time to start. Just call me Dr. Rebekah.:)
