I couldn't start it while I was prego, since we hadn't decided on the chica's name for sure.
Then every time I went shopping for letters, not all five were in a set - even online!
Then, I had to find time to paint them when Hazel didn't want to be held. (Happened at my mom's house when I had lots of helpers.)
And finally, I had to hang them up in her room when she wasn't sleeping in her crib and she didn't need to be held. (She's sleeping in her swing down in the kitchen as we speak.)
It takes a long time to do these things when you're a "single mom!" But, at last, I am ready to reveal the finished project, and I must say, I love it.

Wow Angie, it turned out so great! Those circles look perfect! I love the stripes and polka dots, and how it matches the squares you and Todd painted so many months ago. Good job!
When we actually get into a house of our own (so it may be a few years down the road), can I please hire you to paint and decorate for me? SO cute! Notice I never post pics of my kids room? That is because my creativity level on a scale of 1-10 is negative 5! Good work!
Great Job!!! That looks amazing. Projects tend to take longer with little ones around but you did it :) The letters look amazing and you're so creative with the colors, stripes, and dots.
nice work...i STILL have artwork projects for the girls' room that were lurking before lexi was born! you are obviously more motivated than i am.
Super cute Angie! Way to be crafty like that. I probably never will.
