Ra ra, ra ra ra! Goooooo Cougars!

Hazel went to her first basketball game this week. It was BYU versus New Mexico, and I'm delighted to report that my Alma Mater won. It was fun to be able to do something out of the ordinary, and I felt a surge of pride singing the BYU fight song with Hazel in my arms.

The Haz was unsure what to think about it all. At first, she was happily occupied with looking at all the new scenery and people. Her eyes were huge. But then the game got a little more exciting and there was quite a bit of cheering and whistling going on. Every time there was a good play and a lot of noise, she got scared and started to cry. Looks like we'll have to practice going to games a little bit more.

Gosh, I don't even know the BYU fight song. Good for you for getting out there! Does she have baby Y clothes?

that would be fun. SO cool that you live close enough to do it.

lol...we took ashli to giants games here and she did the same thing...everytime the crowd cheered, she'd get startled and cry.
