Hazel spent her time continually walking towards the waves. We would let her, then grab her and run when the tide rushed in.
Hazel plopped right down on her bum and investigated the wet sand. Plus, she fell forwards once. We decided to be carefree and let her do what she wanted to do. We didn't want to make the beach a scary or a bad place for her.
After a while, we decided it was time to leave, not because Hazel's interest was waning, but because she was too wet, and therefore cold. She made the drive home in her birthday suit and a fresh diaper (and a nice, warm, fleecy blanket, Mom).

Oh she is SOOOO cute! Bobby and I always look at Hazel and how far advanced she is compared to babies born a week after her. She is SOOOO cute!!!
you've inspired me to get our kiddos to the beach. we still haven't been since we've moved--pathetic!
Macey is so jealous you live close to the beach, it is her favorite place! I'm glad to see you let Hazel get dirty and enjoy herself, what a lucky girl. :)
Beautiful pictures! She is fearless and always so inquisitive~ I love it
I can respect a girl who isn't afraid to ride home topless with a blanket because she just had too much fun at the beach. The Haze is the coolest kid I've ever met.
What an adventurous sweetheart! And what fun parents. :)
That video cracked me up. I was watching thinking "can't you see she's looking for someplace to sit!?" and sure enough down she went! Hilarious. I'm glad she had fun.
So cute! glad she enjoyed the trip. I love her little outfit it was adoreable while it lasted. :)
Looks like fun! I love the first picture. :)
